The Rehearsal Barbeque
Come one, come all! We're eatin', y'all!
We are so happy that so many of you are joining us from out of town (and in town) and wanted to see you for more time than just the wedding and reception. So Friday evening (probably around 5) we are going to have a BBQ down at Capistrano Beach in the Doheny State Beach Park.
By car, you enter the park from Dana Point Harbor Drive and there is a $10 fee per car to enter. If walking or biking there is no fee. Then follow the park road to the very south end of the park where all of the cars are parked along the beach. (Locals call this "hole in the fence," but there isn't one, so don't spend too much time looking.) If you want to waive the $10 fee, you can take PCH south until you see the footbridge that crosses the highway. Park along the road and walk over the railroad tracks to find us.
When it comes closer to the date, I will figure out what balloon or flag or whatever to signal our location. I am also trying to make a small map.
A nice sunny day here may become a little cool after the sun goes down so a sweatshirt may be a good idea. The park does fill up quickly in the summer, so try to arrive before all the locals get off work!
